Fee For Service
Care Your Way can provide you with private home care support even if you are not eligible or don’t want to use or wait for Government funded assistance. Using fee for service home care can sometimes be more cost effective as opposed to some Government funded packages and can meet your needs immediately rather than waiting for funded services to be allocated. With fee for service you pay for any supports from your own pocket which would be agreed upon by yourself and Care Your Way. As there is no Government subsidy you only pay for the services provided. Therefore, you will not be placed on the Government waitlist. This is a valuable option if services are needed in circumstances such as discharge from hospital. With fee for service, Care Your Way can still provide all services such as Nursing, Domestic Assistance, Personal Care, Social Support and other services that enable you to remain living at home as long as possible You are not limited to the amount of support hours provided and you can make alterations as your requirements change. You do not have to undergo an ACAT assessment in order to receive fee for service. If you are receiving a home care package and find that you are needing more support hours than is available in your package you are able "top up" using fee for service. Care Your Way can assist with short term care such as a short illness or where your family member/ carer is in need of respite. If you are on a high level package and need 24/7 care, with the package not being able to fund all hours, accessing fee for service will fill the gap.
